If they want a professional logo, they can hire a graphic design and give him the money.
Graphic design is not a competition, we don’t work for free before beiing hired, and hoping the client wil choose us.
Every designer have a portfolio, that’s enough to choose. As a platform for freelancer, they should better be aware of the nospec campaign…admin

I totaly agree with you as speculative work must be stoped, however…we all know there will be always some “designers” breaking the rules of that game and there is no way to compete with them. More annoying is if Freelancing platforms encourage this and support the mockuping and competition trends. Freelancing platforms schould be keeped “contests-free”.
The article here is published however for thos who want to take the advantage and feel comfortable with providing upfront work without the guarantee of compensation…we know there are enough people out there that will jump on such offers. Go get that $10,000…Good Luck to all participants

Thanks for the info, I’ll spread the word.
@Mael : It’s true, but graphic contests exist anyway, the difference is the prize is much more high than a command from a single designer .. it’s a way to find the best logo that can be designed and at the same time it’s fun! because there is a competition between designers ..
anyway, it’s my point of view ..Leave a comment
nice
